About Us

Jepson Cornerstone LTD was formed in 2008 by John Jepson MD and over time has obtaining a good reputation for neatness and craftsmanship. Larger contracts were obtained, such as Hardwick Old Hall for English Heritage, overseeing projects and advising at Tickhill Castle for the Duchess of Lancaster, stone restoration of the Tower at the Catholic Cathedral in Sheffield, the south transept Sheffield Anglican Cathedral, maintenance work at Connisbrough Castle in Yorkshire, Restoration and maintenance at Snitterton Hall, Croxall Hall, Wellbeck Estates, Netherseal Hall and numerous churches and private homes.

All of our stone is locally sourced to match and blend with the project undertaken. All tool finishes are blended to look in character and theme of the original stone work. We use traditional lime mortars in majority of our projects. Our pointing is done to the highest of English Heritage standards. When cleaning we use only water and mild chemical methods (we are totally opposed to sand blasting as this may damage the project).

We love to work with customers, architects, and conservation officers who are involved with stone projects to being the highest quality and share a passion of traditional conservation and restoration projects by qualified and certified masons.
